Notes: Legend: class 1: nil to minor (a) most pastures with good vegetative cover (b) cropping and forestry operations in flat to very gently sloping land. Class 2: moderate (a) poor or very steep pastures (b) gently sloping cropping and forestry land. Class 3: severe (a) cropping and forestry operations on steep land (b) poor pastures on steep land. Class 4: very severe (a) cropping and forestry operations on very steep land (b) poor pasture on very steep land (c) vegetable production on steep land. Class 5: extreme (a) quarrying (b) vegetable production on very steep land.
