Objective

To protect cultural heritage.

Recommendation

It is recommended that the Department of Environment and Land Management prepares a draft which provides advice to local government to assist in meeting the cultural heritage objectives of the Resource Management and Planning System (Part 2 (g) of Schedule 1 of the Land Use Planning and Approvals Act 1993) in the preparation of planning schemes.
